The recent studies signify the growing concern of researchers towards monitoring and measuring sustainability performance at various levels in many fields, including healthcare. However, there is no agreed approach to assessing health systems. Moreover, social indicators are less developed succinct. Therefore, with this work, authors seek map sustainable reference values healthcare propose a conceptual structured framework that can guide measurement sustainability-oriented Based on new multi-criteria method called Strong Sustainability Paradigm based Analytical Hierarchy Process (SSP-AHP), presented opens availability for systems’ comparison benchmarking. incorporated into evaluation prevents exchangeability criteria by promoting alternatives achieve good all criteria, implying sustainability. research results offer insights core domains, sub-domains, supporting more comprehensive assessment constructed study consists five major areas: equity, quality, responsiveness, financial coverage, adaptability. proposed set also serve as instrument, providing transparency about aspects be measured reported, well policy-makers decisions regarding sectoral strategies helpful while performing cross-national comparisons.
